If You Suffer From Lower Right Back Pain it Could Be Caused by Ovarian Cysts

If you are a woman and suffer from lower back pain, you may have ovarian cysts. These are fluid filled sacs that can form on the ovaries. This happens when one or more of the follicles that contain an egg matures, but does not release the egg into the fallopian tube.

This is not uncommon. Thousands of women know they have them while others experience the symptoms but have no idea why. Some of  the indications are:

  • lower or upper back pain

  • abdominal pain

  • pelvic pain

  • painful intercourse

  • nausea or vomiting

  • aching sides

  • frequent urination

  • irregular or missed periods

  • spotting

  • weight gain

  • fatigue

  • pain or pressure on rectum or bladder

  • infertility

Some women will experience only a few of these symptoms while others may have many. The severity can vary as well.

If you have cysts, you are experiencing pain in your back because of the pressure on the bladder, kidneys and other internal organs. The size may also be a contributing factor. Some women that have very large cysts find that they urinate more frequently or have painful bowel movements. This is generally caused by a very large ovarian cyst putting pressure on the internal organs and therefore causing pain in your back.

Treatment depends on several factors. Some women just wait it out and hope that they will go away. Some take medications such as birth control pills, while others opt for surgery. Since there are risks to any surgery and side effects of medication, many women have chosen natural treatments. Natural remedies work with your body to instantly stop the pain and many women have had incredible results by using natural methods.

If your back is hurting it could be caused by cysts on your ovaries. Be sure to carefully consider your options before you decide what to do.
